Emerald Gate Acupuncture - Renee Benedict, EAMP, L.Ac. / Five Element Acupuncture

About Me
Five Element Acupuncture is a subtle yet profound
form of medicine based on Taoist principles
that encompass all of nature, including human nature.
It brings about a balance in body, mind and spirit,
which I believe we all seek.
Due to our culture and life-styles,
it has become increasingly difficult
to find our place in the world.
Five Element Acupuncture is an amazingly subtle way of not only facilitating the balance within ourselves,
but also helping us reconnect with our surroundings.

Twenty-five years ago I experienced Acupuncture for the first time.
I had been referred to an Acupuncturist after many years of suffering with a medical challenge for which western Doctors did not have a remedy.

A friend recommended that I try Acupuncture as a possibility of improving my health. I thought Acupuncture would be an interesting experience, but I did not hold out much hope for relief.
During six months of weekly treatments, my body balanced out, and I was free of the disorder and the suffering that had accompanied it.

I also noticed that as my body was healing, other things were happening too.   I had increased energy, I was sleeping better at night, and I wasn't getting irritated and bothered by little things in life.
I was able to move more smoothly through mental and emotional issues that had previously caused me problems.
I saw that Acupuncture balances the whole person; body, mind & spirit.

As a result of that profound transformation, I realized I wanted to become an Acupuncturist and use this medicine to improve the lives of others.
Because of my love of nature, and my desire to help others, Five Element Acupuncture fit my lifestyle and my goal of helping others.

My approach is to look at each person as a unique individual,
capable of great things in their life.
Just as a master gardener would not neglect the soil when dealing with an ailing plant,
I look at the underlying issue that may be preventing the patient from
living life to its fullest.
Just as a gardener would weed, aerate, and add nutrients to the soil,
I seek to remove the blocks and nourish the Qi within, so each person will have the opportunity to live a vital, strong and healthy life.

I am thrilled to be able to assist others in balancing their Qi and helping them to have full, vital lives. If you have any questions regarding Acupuncture, I encourage you to call or email me.

I provide free half-hour consultations, and would love to meet you, answer your questions, and explore how Five Element Acupuncture can help you to achieve optimal health and well-being.
